Skilled Electronics Engineering Technology Graduate seeking entry-level position:I recently graduated the Electronics Engineering Technology program at Durham College in Oshawa, Ontario. I have also successfully completed one year of the Nuclear Engineering Program at University of Ontario Institute of Technology. (I decided I was more interested in practical hands-on electronics work, and am very happy with what I've learned) I'd love the opportunity to share my enthusiasm for this profession, and grow my skills through a rewarding employment opportunity in the electronics industry. I am already able to successfully program and operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and microprocessors. I've also got a knack for both designing and troubleshooting electronic and digital circuits. I have experience with various diagnostic tools.In addition to academic success including graduating with honours from the French Immersion program in the DCDSB, I have a strong set of interpersonal or 'soft skills': I was able to get along with a group older gentlemen Knights of Columbus for years as the Assistant to the Financial Secretary of the K of C Rogers TV BINGO. (They trusted me to do data entry in Excel, and process large cash deposits each week.) I also navigate the classic stresses of being in a Band that does the odd show at public events like Brooklin Arts Fest. Finally, I've had great success on Team Projects that have been part of the curriculum. I'm able to work with others in both leadership or team member roles.
