Handle day to day operations for a state of the art optical component/instrumentation company. I handle all the packing of the products, as well as determining the most timely cost efficient method of shipment. Act as a liaison between our overseas customers, freight forwards and our sales/technical teams. Schedule and order supplies as needed during cycle counts.Operated full functions of consignment inventory. Schedule all outbound international freight as well as handle all the government export logistics. I am familiar with fedex, ups, dhl, bax global, pilot freight, ect. Also process and maintain inventory of all incoming product.

I merchandise magazines for 10 stores in; This includes, but is not limited to, pulling down outdated material and putting up the recent issues.

Sanmina is one of the leaders in the printed circuit board industry. I overhauled and maintained their finished product inventory. This included monitoring and correcting count discrepancies, and maintaining a very stringent shelf life cycle according to customer or govt. specs. It is not uncommon for me to be assisting with customers or other departments with troubleshooting issues. The other aspect of my function was monitoring work orders via computer and expediting the most cost effective, time sensitive method of shipment. This was a company that handled off-site storage and microfilming for large companies. (hospitals, insurance, ect.) I was hired to do warehouse labor type work, but quickly became an integral part of their company. Within a year of hire I had streamlined their post microfilmed inventory as well as organized and supervised off site purging operations.
