GameUp is the idea of making real connections with people around games. Humankind has played games to strengthen our social bonds for thousands of years and we believe that good gaming interactions are more important than ever. We want people to have better experiences with the games they love and to find new friends and strengthen relationships by playing those games together. The GameUp app (coming soon) is a tool to help achieve those goals.

I had the opportunity at Emperitas Services Group to have additional responsibilities to the company. These included COO responsibilities for a small consulting firm.

As a Consultant Analyst my responsibilities included attending client meetings, assisting with project creation, project planning, and project execution. The scope of these projects varied greatly and provided amazing learning opportunities for me.

My responsibilities at the TVC were to research market place opportunities for different technologies submitted by University of Utah employees. These technologies varied greatly and the need to understand if there were business opportunities were the main goals of the analysts. As a team lead I assisted in teaching new analysts the “ins and outs” of this form of market research as well as assist project managers with assigning new technologies to analysts.

As a participant in the Community Research Group course at the University of Utah we had opportunities to do real market research for companies in the valley. These ranged from Customer Segmentation's to Max Diff ranking. I was lucky enough to be involved with a project to do original research studying people’s survey responses and the impact that could have on market research. As the lead on this project some of my responsibilities involved running analysis, organizing team approaches, creating presentations, and organizing the presentation of our findings at the Western Psychological Association conference.
