I led the project from inception through its first four corporate gate reviews including the Independent Investment Programme Advisory Group (IIPAG) and delivered the Invitation To Tender to extremely challenging timescales. I developed the business case for the SCRP using safety data analysis as the focus, achieving a successful 25:1 benefit cost ratio. This involved developing the project cost estimate, obtaining historic cost data along with informal quotations from suppliers.I prepared and received approval for the SCRP authority papers to Finance & Policy Committee approval, including a Mayoral approval paper for the TfL policy of Average Speed Cameras.I undertook strategic research using demographic, collision, environmental data etc, to determine which policy areas TfL should focus its investment programme on.I formulated multiple responses to portfolio policy issues for external stakeholder enquiries, e.g. MPs, the media, Freedom of Information requests, Councillors, Mayor's Questions and members of the public. I undertook a wide variety of stakeholder management including visits to all 33 London Boroughs to consult on the SCRP and safety camera policy. Show less -
