Thomas Isenschmid has been heading the Institutional Sales Team since 2002. From 1996 to 2001 he was responsible for the Strategic Consulting Team. Between 1993 and 1995 he had the overall responsibility for the balanced portfolios of Winterthur Columna. He started his career as a portfolio manager for Swiss stocks and was managing the Swiss Equity Fund Swissac.Thomas Isenschmid holds a Master in Economics from the University of Berne and is a Certified Financial Analyst AZEK. From 1998 to 2001 he was a lecturer for Modern Portfolio Theory at the University of Applied Sciences at St. Gallen and from 2003 to 2006 at the University of Applied Sciences Zurich/Winterthur. Since 1997 he has been serving as a member of the board of trustees for the Credit Suisse Pension Fund and since 2004 as Vice Chairman of this board and a member of the investment committee. Furthermore he heads the Pension Fund internal Audit Committee.From 2008 to 2013 Thomas Isenschmid held the position as Chief Financial Officer for the Foundation of Scientific Research at the University of Zurich. Since 2013 he serves as a member of the board of this foundation.
