Assessing subcontractor RAMS, coordinating programmed works, sensible monitoring of the workforce, assessing project risks and implementing control measures. Monitoring performance on an ongoing basis, value engineering where scope allows.and general site management.On the engineering site I will often set up all site controls into 1 or more local grids, normally setting the controls into x, y and z so the total station is working in 3D. I am comfortable doing this from first principles on large sites. I also enjoy training junior / intermediate engineers and have done so sucessfully a couple of times over the past 5 years or so.
