Main purpose's was to line manage the team, control costs & ensure the Back of house section and store runs efficiently for M&S customers & colleagues. I was also required to identify & deliver commercial opportunities & financial improvements across the store. Manage and ensure the maintenance across the store machinery is carried out. Spot and highlight any issues ensuring this is logged though the FSI maintenance dashboard with accurate Assets. Contributing to store profitability through minimising losses and accurate cost management across the store. M&S define each task and skills acsociated to the 5 defined Pillars; Sales, Service, Standards, People & Costs. Instigating any store actions required to reduce stock and cash losses. Managing all financial systems to maintain accuracy, probing cash/cost management tool, bank to tender. Manage and control store operating costs and cash management procedures to deliver spend within store targets and budgets. Drive consistent catering offer to all colleagues meeting the required budget.Shrinkage and Security - Manages the shrinkage action planning process and assists in the identification, protection and improvement of stock loss across the store Communicate with 3rd party security and CCTV on a regular basis to deliver shrinkage strategy and premises security requirements. Fully embed a robust till management strategy process to drive down shrinkage whilst maintaining policies in store. Delivering the store and department labour budget ensuring all colleagues are paid correctly. Managed a team to deliver excellent Presentation standards and effective stock management to drive Availability for customers, drive the maintenance of equipment, IT systems and administration.
