Dr Thomas Lee is a Consultant Occupational Physician (Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine). He consults at REDiMED's clinics in Belmont, Joondalup and Bibra Lake.His key interests are in treating and managing workers for injuries, illnesses and diseases. He also has experience in providing Independent Medical Examinations (IME), Permanent Impairment Assessments Fitness for Work assessments, Drug and alcohol reviews), Pre-employment assessments and Rail Safety medical assessments. He is an Approved Medical Specialist with WorkCover WA.He has extensive experience in the mining and oil and gas industry with clients such as FMG, BHP, Rio Tinto, Monadelphous, Chevron, Citic Pacific Mining and Mineral Resources.He believes in providing independent medical advice when treating patients in a holistic manner. His aim is to provide the best care in helping workers rehabilitate to achieve the health and well-being benefits of work.He is a Certified Medical Review Officer (MRO) and member of the Australasian Medical Review Officers Association and an Authorised Health Practitioner (AHP) for Health Assessments of Rail Safety Workers. He works in a team environment with other doctors and allied health professionals at Redimed to provide the best care in helping workers rehabilitate to reach maximum improvement and return to work. The team at Redimed includes Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, Orthopaedic surgeons, Occupational Physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and exercise physiologists.He is available to do site visits, assess workplaces for risk assessments and health surveillance and provide advice on occupational hazards.
