I worked as an Account Representative which would market specific targeted brands such as Ritz, Premium, Triscuits crackers and also Oreo, Chips Ahoy, Fig Newton cookies to grocery chains in central and western Arkansas with annual sales over $3,000,000.

As a graduate of Arkansas Tech University I started with Wal-Mart in management training at Store # 8 in Morrilton, Arkansas and moved into an Assistant Managers position with-in a 3 month period. I was involved with the growth of Sam Walton's dream as when I started there were only 330 stores in 11 states with sales of $1.6 billion. With my departure in 1984, to spend more time with my family, there were 642 stores in 20 sates with sales topping $4.7 billion. Sam was a quick learner.
