Leading a team of Apprentices, Clerks of Works, Graduates and Technicians to deliver Wiltshire Council's annual major maintenance programme, construction value circa. £4.8 Million. Consisting of Surface Treatments (Surface Dressing and Micro Asphalt), Retexturing (Hydro and Shot Blasting), and Footway Resurfacing.

Engineer working within the Highway Improvements team on the Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) NEC4 Professional Services Contract (PSC). Responsible for bidding, commercial and financial management, and delivery of feasibiity and detailed designs for highway safety improvement schemes with a design value typically <£50k, using DMRB, TSM, or Manual for Streets standards, including: - Junction safety improvements - Roundabout safety improvements - Cycle infrastructure - Footway schemes- Route treatment schemes- Pedestrian crossing schemesI have also been part of the project team on the Harbour Road, Lydney scheme (design value - £340k), where I was responsible for environmental, ecological and stakeholder management to construct a new footway from Lydney harbour to the train station as part of the FoDDC harbour regeneration project. I also conducted a dual role as Performance Manager within the GCC PSC between July 2020 and October 2022. Responsible for analysing raw data on project performance across the entire contract, liaising with PMs to identify performance improvement plans, and drafting performance summary reports for issue to the client.

Assistant Engineer working within the Highways team on the South Wales Trunk Road Agent NEC3 PSC. Responsible for detailed design and supervision of highway projects ensuring that construction met the requirements of DMRB, TSM, TSRGD or design specifications.

Graduate Civil Engineer working within the Highways team on the South Wales Trunk Road Agent NEC3 PSC. Responsible for detailed design and supervision of bridge refurbishment, expansion joint replacement and bridge inspection/investigation schemes. Ensuring that designs met the requirements of DMRB, TSM, TSRGD or design specifications.

International secondment to the Atkins Global Technology Centre in Delhi, India, where I worked with a team of Technicians to deliver the detailed design for a bridge parapet upgrade scheme on the M4 motorway including RRRAP Assessment.

Industrial Placement, where I calibrated, tested, and installed monitoring systems attached to structures at various sites (mainly in London) to monitor structural movement during construction works.

Industrial placement with a design consultancy specialising in sustainable design (in adherence with Code for Sustainable Homes). I was responsible for the production of engineering drawings and designs constructed on site. I kept a schedule of materials manufactured at the offices installed on site.
