Currently assigned to the Youth Services Section as an SRO since 2018. C.I.T. training certified, working with Elementary school staff and students. Other duties include, an Orange County Sheriff's Office Lead Liaison to the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Community, Orange County Asian American Committee (OCAC), with the Orange County Mayor's Office, and the Asian American Chamber of Commerce (AACC) of Central Florida. I had been assigned to the International Drive Section Tourist corridor sector previously for one tour, in 1992 and a second from 2010-2018. Types of cases worked, included Forgery, Grand/Petit Theft (Retail), Counterfeit Credit Cards/IDs, Fraud, Burglaries, Death, Near Drowning, Theft by Employee, Traffic cases, and Warrant Arrests. A previously assignment was with the OCSO Marine/Agriculture/Ranch section, for approximately 16 years as a Detective/Investigator, with 2 years prior as a cross trainer. Duties included Marine Patrol, Marine Investigations, callouts for Vessel Accident/Drowning cases, Theft, Title Fraud, Obtain Arrest/Search Warrants, Public Relations Events, Mutual Aid support (Hurricane, Tornado, and Disaster occurrences), the State of Florida Water Response Team, and Trailering Marine and Dive Team equipment for specialized operations. A nomination was earned one year, for Marine Investigator of the year, Nationally/Internationally.Working with the OCSO Search and Recovery Dive Team, I performed Dive Team Leader duties as well as Diver duties. During Dive call out Operations and Training, I supervised 1-2 Dive Teams, with 8-10 members each, as well as initiating Dive Operation plans, Equipment Logistics, Diver assignments and comprehensive Post Operations reports, to the Specialized Patrol Chain of Command. I have worked with the Crime Prevention Unit, conducting Business Security Surveys, lectured at the Citizens Patrol Academy, cross trained with the Warrants/Fugitive units, and Aviation unit as an assistant Flight Officer/FLIR Operator. I have and been deployed in a City Riot/Protest situation in 2020. I am a State of Florida Certified Firearms Instructor, and General Instructor. I have assisted at the Firearms Range with training blocks, and as a Safety Officer during the National/International S.W.A.T. competitions, over a couple of decades.Prior work experience, included a U.S. Govt Employee/Supervisor, at the Federal Bureau of Investigations, and the Intelligence Community Sector. Travels and contacts included various Government entities/dignitaries within the Washington D.C. Metro areas.
