Working in the wood room

• Duties included but not limited to Cablebolt installation and Grouting, Using jack-leg and stoper to rehab drifts, Long Hole loading, Mucking, Blockholer Operator, Spare Development Bolter, driving 50 ton haul trucks, repair and extend services, and general mine tasks

• Preforming Duties of a Shotcreter which include: Spraying shotcrete to ground control standards, maintaining shotcrete machine, building arches, extending services. • Preforming duties of a Haulage man which include: Mucking out rounds, loading trucks, driving haulage trucks, extending services, prepping faces, loading rounds, and blasting. • Preforming Duties of a Bolter which includes: bolting with Jack-leg/Stopers, bolting to standards, installing ground support to standards, and extending services.

• Performing duties of a Support Miner which include: Nipping Gear, Extend and repair services, performing back fill duties, operating Scissor trucks, Scoops, Forklifts, Locomotives, and Burning Torches.• Performing duties of a Recon Miner which include: Scaling, Bolting, extending repairing services and operating Jack-legs, Stopers, and Mclean bolter. • Performing duties of a Raise Bore helper which include: Set-up and tear down of raise bore drills, Operating a raise bore drill, handling raise bore rods, pilot hole and reaming tasks.

• Performed work as a Conventional Miner which includes: Drilling, Blasting, Mucking, Shotcreteing and Bolting all in a conventional setting with use of equipment such as; Jack-legs, Stoper, Pluggers, Locomotives, Muck Machines, Slushers, Side Dump rail cars.
