UD’s engineering program had a noticeable emphasis on team environments and design. Throughout my education I worked on several technical design projects, including circuit design and using circuits to analyze digital signals, C++ and Java game design, and mechatronics with Siemens Healthineers. I also completed courses on Python, C, Matlab, Mips, ARM, and received training in National Instruments’ LabView from Siemens. All design projects were hands-on with functioning diodes, motors, etc. Outside of school, I also interned for two summers at STV Inc. which provided me with experience with technical drawings on AutoCAD and the process of creating, updating, and finalizing them to the specifications of senior engineers. I also helped with managing the resulting reports to keep them free of errors and up to date with the latest specifications. I worked as a full electrical engineer for Bladykas Engineeringin 2017, working on drawings myself as well as performing inspection in the field. I also worked for WSP as a Field Inspector, working alongside contractors doing upgrades for the New York City Subway. In addition, during the summer of 2016 I successfully completed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam in New York State, and have completed MTA Track Safety Training and OSHA-10 training as well.
