The majority of my career is in manufacturing management and I am extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the manufacturing process; including purchasing/materials management, warehouse management, operations/plant management, production management, and product management.As a Materials Manager, I am proficient in supply chain management and supervise a staff responsible for the purchasing of materials, inventory planning and control, and logistics. I negotiate agreements with suppliers, keeping lean manufacturing principles in mind, to ensure procurement with minimal working capital investment. I work closely with the sales, production, and engineering teams in order to secure a continuous supply of materials.As an Operations Manager, I am proficient in budget preparation and management, product management, facility maintenance and management, human resources, performance reviews, team building and leadership, forecasting, purchasing, sales / marketing, and customer service.As a Production Manager, I am especially skilled at workplace and production layout, scheduling and supervising production, equipment installation and maintenance, safety, and quality control. I strive for maximum efficiency and am constantly looking for ways to streamline the production process to improve productivity metrics while maintaining safety and quality control. I can analyze the production process and recognize opportunities for improvements, contributing to a substantial increase in productivity and efficiency while reducing cost and waste.As a Product Manager, I enjoy designing new products, engineering modifications to existing products, and managing the project from conception to implementation.Much of my experience comes from working with die cast aluminum products and kitchen smallwares. In this field I have performed extensive research and development, resulting in several patents and trademarks.During the COVID-19 shutdown, I completed the 120-Hour Real Estate Inspection Certification Program through ICA and am also certified through Fannie Mae for multifamily property inspections. I am currently working remotely part-time as a commerical property inspector for SAS. This involves onsite inspection of commercial properties and submitting written reports with photographs.
