A trained health economist with over 15 years of experience in the fields of health care financing and economic evaluation of health programmes. Has extensive experience in health resource tracking especially in the field of HIV/AIDS and reproductive health, health economic analysis and in presenting health policy results at the highest levels. Mr. Maina has been providing leadership, direction and content to the design and implementation of technical support activities related to health financing strategy and was instrumental in the design of a road-map that will see the finalization of the Health Care Financing Strategy, 2015.
