My name is Tom Marble and I am senior at Plattsburgh State University majoring in newspaper journalism with a minor in political science. I am currently the news editor for the student-run newspaper in Plattsburgh, Cardinal Points. This is my third semester as member of Cardinal Points staff. I am also a staff writer for the college's magazine, Do North. Outside of school, I enjoy fishing, hiking and boating. During the summer, I work for a landscaping company that wholesales equipment to smaller enterprises. After graduation, my goal is to secure a job at a respectable news media outlet as a reporter or copy editor. Eventually, I would like to sit on the editorial board of a newspaper.
