Managed a variety of capital projects within a large petroleum storage terminal of up to $1.5M including piping modifications to increase reliability, custody-transfer metering and sampling upgrades to increase throughput, and oil storage tank repairs. Planned outages, coordinating with Operations, Customer Services, and HSE groups to facilitate tie-ins of major construction projects to existing operating assets while overseeing teams of up to 50 operations, maintenance, and contractors across civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.

• 4 months field experience as a heavy oil plant operator• 12 months as a facilities engineer supporting SAGD central processing plant executing capital projects, optimizing processes, increasing reliability and reducing operating costs. Managed and executed projects from cost justification through installation and commissioning; including a piping re-design for a chemical injection system and the modification of process vessels to improve operation. Designed spreadsheets to assist field staff in monitoring process efficiency trends on an on-going basis.
