I love being a data analyst and being able to use insights from data to better understand people and drive decision-making. I currently work as a Principal Data Analyst for the Queensland Government. My focus is to create data automation pipelines that ensure we are presenting only the highest quality data. Our insights are only as useful as they are understandable, so I focus on demystifying and explaining the technical side of my work for non-technical audiences.As a Specialist Data Analyst in the EAIT faculty at UQ, I conducted high-level statistical analysis to inform faculty decision-making, and delivered my findings through effective, actionable communication. As the resident faculty data expert, I conceptualised, managed and delivered several analysis projects for the faculty leadership.At TransPosition, I conducted statistical analyses on large datasets to inform our understanding of what factors influence travel behaviour and how individuals make travel decisions. I managed analysis projects including preparing traffic predictions for vendor due diligence reports for major toll roads, and complex modelling of the distributive effects of different road pricing scenarios across different household types.I graduated with a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours Class I) from the University of Queensland. My honours thesis, "The Development of Spontaneous Reminder Setting in Children" examined children's ability to adaptively plan for their future cognitive limitations.
