As a certified technician, I am responsible for receiving and validating prescriptions, typing them into the system, physically dispensing medications and labeling their containers. Once the prescriptions have been verified by a pharmacist, I am responsible for storing them in their assigned slots awaiting pickup. Greeting patients, verifying their identity, releasing their medications, and collecting payment are part of the process. I also receive and put away deliveries and maintain department supplies and cleanliness. Making phone calls to providers to clarify prescriptions, calls to patients to follow up on services and taking incoming calls are part of my duties, as well.

As the Department Supervisor of the Flooring Department, I supervise a team of five associates and am responsible for maintaining the merchandising standards for the Flooring Department including stocking deliveries in a timely manner, executing merchandising plans, sales and customer service. As well as inventory maintenance, department cleanliness and safety standards.

As the Department Supervisor for the Special Services Desk (Customer Service), I provided leadership to a team of fourteen Service Desk Associates and eight Order Fulfillment Associates. The Department provides for customer returns, sales, phone sales, and online order pick and returns. It is also the hub for the delivery of orders placed in the store, over the phone, or online. The desk is usually the first point of contact for customers calling about installations and special orders. As the Supervisor, it was my responsibility to oversee this, schedule to meet the needs of the department, coordinate with multiple departments within the store and vendors outside the store, and manage a variety of holding areas for order fulfillment.

As the Department Supervisor of the Paint department, my responsibilities included providing leadership for a team of seven clerks, scheduling to meet the needs of the department, executing weekly merchandising plans, ensuring deliveries were stocked in a timely manner, assisting customers, maintaining equipment, and preparing the department for inventory.

As a Product Specialist in the Flooring department, I worked with customers to select the type of floor that suited their needs. Then assisted them in choosing the style, color, and finishing touches to complete their project. I also coordinated with our measuring and installation vendors if the customer wanted their floor installed by our professional installers. Daily duties included, but not limited to, customer service, inventory management and shelf conditions, department appearance, follow-up phone calls, and trouble-shooting.

Responsible for maintaining corporate premium inventory. This includes forecasting, ordering, receiving, invoicing, and securing the inventory at the corporate office as well as up to thirteen field sales offices. Also responsible for developing policies for handling, securing, and distribution of the inventory at the sales offices. Conduct site audits to check for proper inventory reporting and handling. Assist in training sales office personnel in proper inventory control procedures.

Was responsible for setting up from scratch a warehouse to manage and store printed materials used by Marketing, Sales, and the daily operations at the company's corporate office.
