As a certified technician, I am responsible for receiving and validating prescriptions, typing them into the system, physically dispensing medications and labeling their containers. Once the prescriptions have been verified by a pharmacist, I am responsible for storing them in their assigned slots awaiting pickup. Greeting patients, verifying their identity, releasing their medications, and collecting payment are part of the process. I also receive and put away deliveries and maintain department supplies and cleanliness. Making phone calls to providers to clarify prescriptions, calls to patients to follow up on services and taking incoming calls are part of my duties, as well.

Also responsible for developing policies for handling, securing, and distribution of the inventory at the sales offices. Conduct site audits to check for proper inventory reporting and handling. Assist in training sales office personnel in proper inventory control procedures.

Was responsible for setting up from scratch a warehouse to manage and store printed materials used by Marketing, Sales, and the daily operations at the company's corporate office.
