Work on the out of hours team based in Alness, Ross-shire. Support small to medium business with installation or faults with their broadband or fibre connectivity, Email, PC, Wireless, BT Sport, BT Openzone, VOIP, PC security, CCTV config, Billing, complaints and anything that we can, within our means, help with due to being the only BT Retail support.

Alness

Worked dayshift providing broadband technical support to BT Business customers. Supported set up of DSL and Dial-up connections and router/modem installations over the phone. Carried out line checks and raised faults to BTWholesale or booked Openreach engineer visits.

Beinn Tharsuinn Wind Farm

Mainly assigned to work with the onsite Civil Engineer and help with line and level, equipment calibration and site setting-out duties. Worked with joiners building base platforms for wind turbines and with Bricklayers and steel fixers whilst digging out and strengthening Strathrory Bridge.

Cisco Networking (Ccna), Grade 3

Completed and passed 9 month Cisco CCNA module between October 14'​ and June 15'. Course materials included Introduction to Networks.
