Work in a corporate security environment, performing camera surveillance, dispatch, and vehicle patrol duties to detect, deter, investigate, and document crimes against persons and property in an urban neighborhood surrounding our client's Downtown Detroit MI headquarters. Interact with law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical personnel as well as the general public to provide a safe and secure space for our client's employees and visitors, and those of the other businesses in our neighborhood.

Reporting directly to the Director of Security responsibilities included the day to day operations of the Security and Fire Command Center, supervising the permanent and relief Security Dispatchers, selection of candidates to fill open positions, as well as the creation and implementation of an initial and continued training program for Security Dispatchers including the operation of the life safety systems, Competitive Edge Software Inc.'s Report Exec Enterprise and Dispatch programs, as well as video surveillance systems. Custodian of the Security Department video archives. Developed and implemented standard operating procedures to improve the work product of the Security Dispatchers. Ensured all dispatch reports, paperwork, and logs were properly and accurately completed and submitted in a timely manner. Defensive Tactics, First Aid, CPR, and AED trained.

Reporting directly to the Director of Security responsibilities included the day to day operations of the Security and Fire Command Center, the creation and implementation of a training program for Security Dispatchers including the operation of the life safety systems, Competitive Edge Software Inc.'s Report Exec Enterprise and Dispatch programs, and video surveillance of non-gaming areas. Developed and implemented standard operating procedures to improve the work product of the Security Dispatchers. Ensured all dispatch paperwork and logs were properly and accurately completed in a timely manner. Assisted in the creation of the permanent dispatcher position, and selection of candidates to fill the positions. Promoted to Security Dispatch Supervisor upon creation of the position. First Aid, CPR, and AED trained.
