Work experienceThe Range Cafe - Durham (October 2019 - February 2020) - Dropped due to COVID-19I joined The Range Cafe for seasonal work, it was a high paced, busy environment, i worked a diverse number of roles, such as: Working on the till, preparing and serving toasties/salads/sandwiches, washing up/ dishwasher duties, clearing tables/ preparing tables for the day, cooking hot foods for main meals/ making desserts, also made a variety of different hot drinks. Waitering / Bar work - The Impeccable Pig September 2018 to November 2019I joined the impeccable pig a week after its initial opening into Sedgefield. From then I worked front of house serving people meals and drinks, eventually moving into the bar area serving drinks behind the bar, making cocktails and a plethora of different beverages for the restaurant as well. Sedgefield Race Coursewaitering / bar work / Till work in a fish shopJanuary 2018 to September I started working a few times a month as part of a catering team for the racecourse in Sedgefield during; raceways. ladies days, weddings etc. Eventually after a few months I asked to gain some experience working behind a bar and therefore under an adult's supervision I was able to learn how to start serving different alcoholic beverages. Therefore this gave me much more independence in the working world . Finally I also started working shifts at the fish shop every week serving people a variety of different foods.Dun Cow Innwaitering / kitchen staffSeptember 2017 to December 2018This was my first job where I gained a lot of experience within the kitchen routines. Eventually was able to progress to waitering and table services which I felt much more suited to because I thrive more under a social environment
