As a software engineer at Hexaware Technologies, I am subcontracted at a large Fortune 100 company in the financial sector, where I apply my skills in Typescript, Angular, Java, and Spring Boot to develop and maintain web applications. I enjoy working on challenging projects that require creativity and technical expertise, as well as collaborating with other developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.My Previous developer experience started at Revature as a full-stack Angular/Spring Boot developer. At Revature I gained valuable experience in building two full-stack applications using the Angular and Spring Boot frameworks and deploying them using Amazon Web Services (AWS). The first application is MovieTN, a movie review and list app that I created and deployed as an individual project. The second application is Flumblr, a social media app that combines the functionality of Tumblr and Twitter, which I developed and deployed with the help of 13 other developers. I successfully led a team of three front-end developers on this project, ensuring the timely completion of our assigned features through the application of Agile methodologies. I had the opportunity to work in an Agile environment, where I used tickets and story points to manage features and their time to completion in an efficient manner. The fast-paced nature of Agile methodologies pressured me to develop great organization and time management skills, effective collaboration with team members, and adaptability.My passion for programming started as a hobby during my high school and college years, when I was fascinated by the idea of creating any program I wanted with the right skills and creativity. Initially, I didn't consider it as a career option because I was set on going to medical school and becoming a doctor. As a result, I graduated from UC Merced with a Bachelor's in Human Biology. Although I still graduated, during my studies I realized that I was more interested and suited for a software development career. So, I decided to pivot and seriously pursue a software development role. I am an avid learner who constantly seeks to improve my skill set and stay updated with the latest technologies. My goal is to leverage my programming and problem-solving skills to create impactful and innovative solutions for various domains and industries.
