I consider myself an old soul that is able to retain the child-like simplistic contentment of life. I am driven more by accomplishments then I am by possessions, and I think the most valuable things in life are relationships with other, experiences, knowledge, skills, gratitude, inspiration, and love. I embrace other people's differences and celebrate them and seek to learn from them. I truly believe everybody has something to teach us, and I have pragmatically enjoyed the benefits of this belief time and time again. Given this mindset, it is reasonable to say that I always enjoy meeting new people. I specifically like listening to people talk about what they enjoy and are passionate about. When their passion is paired with a vision and the work ethic to accomplish the vision, it is truly refreshing and self-motivating. Overall, I have a very positive outlook on life. I truly believe there is good in everything. I look at adversity as the opportunity for growth. I do not feel sorry for myself when things don't go my way--I evaluate the situation and decide if there is anything I can do to change the outcome. If there is, I put all my effort toward the solution, and if there is not, then I evaluate my sunk costs and try to salvage the situation as best as possible. Ever since I was young, I have been introspective by nature which has allowed me to have at least a minimum degree of self-awareness. I pride myself on my ability to remove prejudice and look at a situation from an as-unbiased-as-humanly-possible perspective. This ability can be a deterrent in my social life when I receive disingenuous inquiries of my opinion, but it has only benefitted me professionally and developmentally. Being a life long martial arts practitioner, modesty and work ethic are implicitly self-imposed and expected. My understanding and commitment to personal accountability is an asset to any company.I wanted to talk about my weaknesses but there wasn't enough room here.
