Preformed a technical leadership role in developing the PROTECT+ Security Operations Centre. Key responsibilities included: handling escalations from Tier 1 + Tier 2 Security Analysts, developing and improving our threat detection rules, improving our use of Cyber Threat Intelligence, working on and delivering key-projects for clients, and co-ordinating.

Working as a Security Analyst with the PROTECT+ SOC I undertake work with both our cloud and on-premises SIEM platforms. My core responsibilities include; creating new threat detection rules, tuning and maintaining existing rules, and collecting threat intelligence utilizing MISP.
