Involved in:• Mid-month and end of month surveys to collect volumes of ore stockpiles, monitor progress of production/rehabilitation of the mine and determination of underwater topography in tailings ponds. This was achieved using methods such as drone captured photogrammetry, terrestrial laser scanning and bathymetric sonar.• Processing data using various software such as Hypack, Maptek Point Studio, Global Mapper, Propeller and BricsCAD.• Bulk earth works set out for various components of the mine such as dump piles, tip heads, batters etc. • Setout for infrastructure placement such as solar farms, pumps, pads for fixed machinery as well as set out for clearing limits.• Remote workings where satellite phone was required.• Creation and upload of designs onto machinery on the mine that used a mixture of Leica and Topcon machine guidance.• Liaising with mine coordinators and other contractors in daily morning meetings.• Managing survey requests and maintaining records of legacy data.

Working during university holidays with the Parkes and western regions TfNSW survey team. I assisted on numerous jobs which included: • Establishing, traversing and levelling control networks.• Road corridor detail surveys using Trimble GNSS and Trimble total stations.• Road corridor cadastral work such as boundary definitions and Preservation of Survey Infrastructure (POSI).• Road deformation monitoring.• Potholing/service location surveys.• Exposure to drone captured photogrammetry. • Line marking set out.• Class LB level runs. Much of the work required away trips in remote locations which allowed me to work in many of the regional communities in western NSW.

Assisted a team of registered/technician surveyors in a range of cadastral and construction projects in Orange and surrounding areas. Work I assisted on include: • Residential property/vacant block details.• Large-scale rural property details.• Road corridor detail.• Set outs for building slabs, sewer, stormwater, electrical conduit, roads and boundaries for small/large subdivisions.• Work as executed surveys,• Rural boundary definition surveys.• Identification surveys.• Creation of easements. • Establishment of control for deformation monitoring. I was exposed to Leica and Sokkia GNSS and Total station technology and AutoCAD and Magnet Office for drafting and data processing.
