Project Management for ASIC development in the HP Networking (HPN) Business Unit.

Currently I am responsible for the efforts below on multiple ASSP's in addition to other responsibilities:- FPGA emulation platform design, test plan development, test plan execution- ASSP functional test including board design, test development, test execution

As a Program Manager at PMC-Sierra my team delivered and supported ASSP's which included PCIe Gen1, Gen2 and Gen3, Fibre Channel (up to 8Gb) and developed modules for SOC processors as well as other ASSP required functionality for other programs in the company.

During this short time I continued to manage and deliver Fibre Channel ASIC's to our customers.

Managed a team that delivered Fibre Channel ASIC's to customers using both internally developed and externally sourced code via a 3rd party foundry. The team was also responsible for pre-silicon verification with a combination of Specman, SystemC and some legacy C based test benches.

As a PM at Hewlett Packard my team developed ASIC's for the Fibre Channel product line (some FC controllers, some bus interface gaskets) for internal and external customers. The development included- Review of customer requirements.- Architecture (high level and low level).- Team management.- Worked with multiple fabrication houses to deliver product (rtl/static timing hand off).- Worked with 3rd parties to bring in parts of the design (PCI, PCIX, PCIe).- Led team to internally develop/leverage all other product code.- Led pre-silicon verification team with verilog and c based test benches.

Below is some of the work I did:- Network engineer working on Ethernet designs.- Developed a SCSI EISA card based on an NCR controller.- Developed a SCSI interface ASIC for internal use.- Developed a Fibre Channel interface ASIC for HP workstations.
