Partner in the Human Resources Practice Group of Eversheds Sutherland. I have a particular specialism in International Labour law, Industrial relations and business and Human Rights and I am listed as a recommended individual in Legal 500 & Chambers and Partners legal directories. Recent experience includes coordinating and advising on pan-European restructuring and employment issues associated with COVID-19 . I have successfully negotiated and drafted a number of European Works Council (EWC) agreements for major multi-national employers across multiple jurisdictions; advising companies managing Trade Union recognition applications before the Central Arbitration Committee (CAC); and advising on high profile industrial action including High Court injunction proceedings. I also have significant experience in advising companies faced with complex restructuring issues, involving both collective redundancies and TUPE matters. My client base is predominately private sector multi-national corporations and I also act as client partner for FTSE 250 companies and US based organisations. My work is increasingly international focussed and I regularly coordinate and manage large scale employment law projects over multiple jurisdictions.I have a particular interest in the area of Modern Slavery and regularly advise on compliance with the Modern Slavery Act reporting duty. I have considerable advocacy experience in both the Employment Tribunal and Central Arbitration Committee.
