Tom works in an alliance delivering rail infrastructure projects.Tom started 17 months into a project, a few months prior to the main occupation and was able to achieve a leading Infrastructure Sustainability rating and two five star Green Star ratings, being the only Sustainability Advisor on a project worth over $500m.Tom has rewritten the sustainability policy and management plan to reflect the actual data collected and reported on the project, including restoration. That included updating the risk an opportunity management process and performance review process. He also then updated the alliance scope if works and design templates to include these clearly defined objectives and targets for their subcontractors. This process involved analysing all materials emissions and setting practical cement reduction targets per element.
