I was the lead attorney on multiple homicide prosecutions and cold-case investigations. I also spent time in the civil division, handling federal litigation involving employment discrimination, immigration, personal injury, and medical malpractice.I am an adjunct professor at Saint Louis University, where I taught courses on trial advocacy and criminal procedure. I have been voted adjunct faculty member of the year three times. For over a decade, I also instructed at the National Advocacy Center, a training institution on legal and leadership.
