In May of 2022 I retired from the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office in New Jersey as a Detective in the Major Crimes unit. The task of the Major Crimes unit is to investigate or assist with an investigation(s) that have occurred in the county of Hunterdon and require additional support/investigation.Previously, I retired as a Lieutenant with the New Jersey State Police with over 26.8 years of experience retiring in 2014.As a Crime Scene Investigator for more than 16 years, I have assisted numerous agencies in investigative services(Photographic and computer sketching of crime scenes; Latent fingerprint examination; Evidence collection). I have assisted in cases involving homicides, police involved shootings, accidental deaths, suspicious deaths, aggravated assaults, arson, car-jackings, auto thefts, fraud terrorism, fatal/serious motor vehicle accidents, air craft accidents and photographic assignments.As a Unit Head/Lieutenant, I was a manager of all functions of CSI North. Including all aspects of investigations, reports, evidence, equipment, security, assignments and personnel. Availability 24hr / 365 day response. I have completed over 25 technical/professional training courses.I have also conducted several background investigations for applicants to the NJSP, as well as numerous background investigations for hand gun and carry permits.As a general duty road Trooper for 10.5 years. I have experience in patrol related duties throughout Northern New Jersey. Including 4 years assigned to a Tactical Patrol unit which was responsible for security/escorts of VIPs.
