During my years of experience at college and university, I have gained a wide insight into the legal profession as well as relevant fields such as company management, chain of supply and imports and exports. During my experience as a trainee paralegal working in the remortgage department of Aberdein Considine I have also gained many transferable skills. These include analysing property titles, reviewing and calculating redemption figures. As well as the skills mentioned I have also gained a strong ability to multitask and prioritise workload, continuing to hit daily work targets while juggling multiple calls from borrowers. From my experience at Pinsent Masons I have further developed my skills in these fields while also gaining a wider knowledge of both Scottish and English property law. This role has provided me with valuable insight into the various complex aspects of property transfer and sales. During this time I have joined multiple company initiatives such as mental health champion and most recently wellbeing paralegal.
