Teaching Civil Engineering Juniors and Seniors Hydraulic Engineering (CE375) and Hydrology and Storm Drainage (CE475).

Principal Engineer: Responsible for the management of large design and construction projects associated with the District’s $2.3 billion Clean Water Program. Assisted in the development of the Clean Water Program’s Construction Management Plan including: preparation of job descriptions, estimating staffing levels, and development of roles and responsibilities for various types of construction projects. • Management of large design projects including sewer separation projects • Development and implementation of “Contractor’s Forum” outreach program• Oversight of the consultant procurement process (RFQs/RFPs) • Coordination of CT DEP Clean Water Program grant and loan requests • Engineering design and preparation of contract drawings• Review of subdivision plans for conformance with District standards for water and sewer lines

• Management of design teams including: architects, engineers, draftsmen, and parking specialists• Review of construction phasing plans, specifications and shop drawings• Coordination with clients/owners to ensure projects met their needs and expectations

Senior Project Engineer / Bridge Inspection Team Leader• Developed a $1 million per year capital bridge rehabilitation program for Metro-North Railroad• Led a team of bridge inspectors for the inspection of over 150 railroad bridges• Managed billing, distribution of work to staff, and coordination with clients • Designed structural repairs for over 40 railroad bridge rehabilitation projects• Provided construction inspection, estimates and constructability reviews• Safety coordinator for Rocky Hill office - provided training in confined space entry and fall protection/arrest
