During my time as a sub-contractor for Mitie I completed a vast range of complex refurbishment roofing projects. Although my role was labour only, I was still expected to complete various tasks outside of my remit to ensure the project ran smoothly and safely. Supervising the task until completion and closing off and filing the permit. - Dynamically changing the risk and method statement as the method required would often change as the job progressed. - Installing various roofing and cladding systems to a high standard. - Dispute resolution - what the QS expects to receive and what the sales team have sold them can sometimes be very different. I often acted as mediator and prided myself on always being able to reach a mutually beneficial solution. - During my time at Mitie, I completed by National Vocation Qualification Level 2 in Roof Sheeting & Cladding Occupations.
