Founded in 2002, the Citizens Water Advocacy Group (CWAG) is a science-based citizens group dedicated to working for a sustainable water future for the Prescott Active Management Area and protecting the upper Verde River. We see two fundamental challenges to sustainable water management: • Our water supply is dependent on groundwater; we are depleting our groundwater reserves because we are pumping too much. • Excessive groundwater pumping and climate change are reducing the flow of the upper Verde River.Website: https://cwagaz.org

Vitalist Health Foundation is a Phoenix-based public foundation focused on Arizona health policy and strength-based community development. Its work is focused primarily in Maricopa County – the greater Phoenix metropolitan area – although they occasionally engaged in statewide projects. Vitalyst pursues its mission in three general areas: Arizona Health Futures. Vitalyst's health policy and education arm is dedicated to conducting relevant and timely policy research; providing balanced, non-partisan information and perspectives on health issues in Arizona; serving as a convener and forum for the critical discussion of those issues in an independent and policy-neutral setting; and translating good ideas into action through the support of community-based initiatives. Community Partnership Grants. Focused on increasing the organizational capacity of health and human service organizations, as well as promoting grassroots community development. Medical Assistance. Provide direct medical assistance for persons in need through a network of community health partners.
