Summary: Finance professional with in-depth experience in planning and analysis, Treasury, acquisitions and divestitures, Benefits and Equity Compensation Accounting/ Operations and Risk and Control.Citi Experience: Tom is currently Cfo for Citi Shared Services (CSS) which provides an array of services to Citi globally , including Payment Services, Procurement, Payroll, Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Reporting Operations. CSS is a division of Citi Operations and Technology . He also managed the financial process for CGSL (formerly known as e-Serve) and he continues to handle the divestiture of that business. Before joining CSS, Tom was CFO for Corporate Staffs and responsible for Accounting and Operations for Equity Compensation (restricted stock and employee options) and Employee Benefit Plans (pensions, 401k). Prior to that, Tom spent three years in the Corporate Investment Bank as Controller for the North America Cash Management business, a division of Global Transaction Services (GTS). Before moving to GTS, Tom was the CFO for the North American Consumer Treasury group where he was part of team that consolidated four regional treasuries into one and rolled out transfer pricing of assets and deposits for the consumer bank. Before that Tom was head of financial planning and analysis for the Northeast Consumer bank. Outside Citi Experience:Before joining Citigroup, Tom worked at Continental Group, a multinational manufacturing company, for five years; the last two years in the mergers and acquisitions department. Tom began his career in public accounting with Touche Ross, now Deloitte Touche. Educational Background and Certifications:Tom holds an MBA in Finance from Fairfield University and a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from City University New York. Tom also is a CPA in the State of NY.
