Developing Legged Robotic Locomotion | Agility RoboticsCollaborated with Agility Robotics on advancing the capabilities of the "Digit" bipedal robot, focusing on the design and optimization of robotic gait libraries. My work involved developing and programming controllers to enable Digit to perform complex tasks such as terrain traversal, payload transportation, and navigation in dynamic environments. This research aimed to enhance the robot's ability to adapt to varied conditions, enabling it to demonstrate functional, real-world behaviors essential for future deployment in industries such as logistics, construction, and more.

Supported hands-on learning and prototyping for undergraduate mechanical engineering students in UD's state-of-the-art engineering woodshop. Facilitated instructional sessions and assisted students in utilizing professional-grade tools and machinery to bring their design concepts to life. Managed a collaborative space designed to foster creativity and technical skill development, aiding students in projects such as Pull Toys, Wooden Bicycles, Junior Design, and Senior Design. Ensured safety and provided guidance on best practices for fabrication, material selection, and mechanical assembly.Design, Senior Design, etc.

Selected for the competitive Summer Scholars Program, which provides undergraduates the opportunity to engage in full-time, in-depth research under the mentorship of university faculty. Worked closely with Dr. Ioannis Poulakakis on research focused on advancing the locomotion capabilities of the bipedal robot "Digit" from Agility Robotics. Conducted detailed analysis and experimentation to enhance the robot's understanding of gait dynamics and control strategies. The project culminated in a final presentation, including a research poster that summarized the summer's findings and contributed to ongoing developments in robotic locomotion.

Designed and led four semesterly workshops focused on developing essential skills for personal and professional growth, covering topics such as time management, leadership, healthy habits, and career development. These sessions served as a foundation for fostering brotherhood, supporting members’ intrapersonal growth, and enhancing the fraternity’s educational programming.Through these efforts, Pi Kappa Alpha has consistently maintained the highest GPA among UD fraternities from 2021-2023. The fraternity is dedicated to elevating the academic and professional achievements of each member, with peer education playing a pivotal role in this mission.

Collaborated with a team of three undergraduate engineering students through the University of Delaware’s "Senior Design" capstone program, partnering with Auris Health on the development of an advanced robotic medical device. Our project focused on characterizing critical design variables related to precision in the robot’s cable-driven linkages. Through extensive analysis and testing, we successfully established a method for optimal cable tensioning within one of the robot's links, ensuring greater control and precision in its operation. This solution provided Auris Health with valuable insights to enhance both manufacturing consistency and device reliability.
