As a software developer, my personal motto has always been, "my job is to make your job easier." In pursuit of this, everywhere that I have worked, I've developed tools to aid my teams, and/or our staff in general. These tools have always been for improved efficiency of daily tasks, and ease of access to systems and functions required to do the job.As my staff were my users in those cases, it has helped me to improve my understanding of how to properly proceed with the development cycle. Further, having gone through user experience training, read through materials like Why Software Sucks, and The Design of Everyday Things, I've further broadened my understanding of how my thoughts and expectations of a program may be vastly different than that of the intended users. The adage, "The more you know, the more you realize how little you know," fits this understanding perfectly. What do I offer? I'm an intelligent, perceptive, out-of-the-box thinker with great problem solving skills. I'm patient, and thorough in exploring various possible situations and conditions to the problem. I have a passion for making sure the work is done right the first time.
