Thomas L. Seltzer is the Retirement Plans Director at Arrow Wealth Advisors and specializes in employee benefits and individual insurance. He has more than 20 years of experience in the area of tax qualified defined contribution and defined benefit retirement plans. He works with employers as a fiduciary to tailor plans to fit their unique objectives in the most cost effective manner. Tom specializes in benchmarking retirement plans and consults on plan design issues.After starting his career with New York Life in 1989, Tom became an independent broker in 1994 to better serve his clients. In addition to qualified plans, Tom consults with small business owners and professionals on their personal insurance programs. In the past, Tom has been called as an expert witness on disability insurance. He is also a certified long-term care specialist.Tom partners with his son, Daniel L. Seltzer, who is a CFP® and has a Master of Science in Financial Planning (MSFP). Together, they opened a financial planning and wealth management division to complement their employee benefits business. Arrow Wealth Advisors focuses on personal financial planning and wealth management.When Tom is not working, he enjoys traveling and spending time with family. Writing has been a lifelong hobby, and Tom had a novel, “Years of the Locust,” published in 2011. He is actively involved in ministry work with his church, Hillside Fellowship. Tom resides in San Antonio with his wife, Jennie. They have four grown children and eight grandchildren.
