I've worked many years advocating for farmworker rights, health and growth. I've worked at CATA (Farmworkers Support Committee) in Glassboro, NJ, Kennett Square, PA, and Yauco, PR, organizing workers, providing health systems to the farms such as HIV/AIDS testing, pesticides exposure training, and eye tests through the NJ Commission for the Blind mobile unit, writing grants, and, supervision. I have also worked at the Southern Jersey Family Medical Center in Hammonton, NJ, a commuinity and migrant health center as the Migrant Outreach Coordinator, educating migrant farmworkers on diabetes, facilitating tuberculosis testing (PPD) and educating on the services of the health center. I've been an investigator for Wage and Hour almost 13 years, over 600 investigations, 98% recovery rate, 97% violation rate, and multiple acts: FLSA, CL, DBRA, SCA, FMLA, MSPA/H2A, H1B. I also have received 5 Secretary's Awards for service, one personally received from former Secretary Elaine Chao in Philadelphia, PA. From NJ, I was promoted to Assistant District Director in 2010 for the Portland District Office, cover all of Oregon,, parts of SW Washington, and most of Idaho. In 2015, I was promoted to District Director of the Portland District Office. in 2019, we combine both Portland and Seattle offices as a hybrid super district office known as the Pacific Northwest District Office (PNWDO), which covers 4 states, two district offices, over 916,000 square miles, 3 time zones, and a population of 14 million. In 2021, we separated the two offices, and I was promoted to District Director of the Seattle Office. I am currently the district director for the Seattle District Office, covering WA and AK. I have been involved with worker advocacy organizations, employer stakeholders, accountants, lawyers, human resource organizations educating all on the employment landscape of a level playing field, have been quoted on numerous press releases and conducted tv and radio interviews.
