Tom is a board member and adviser, providing fund raising expertise, strategic and operational guidance to early stage companies and start ups. In his current role as a Managing Director at Young America Capital, he is focused on the human capital management industry. Before joining YAC, he served as Executive Chairman and board member of Bright Funds, a for good, for profit SAAS company for 3 1/2 years. As CEO, he was responsible for driving business strategy and company growth, while improving cost efficiencies and increasing profit margins. The company was acquired in November, 2021. As a senior operating executive with issuer's financial transaction experience, Tom developed deep expertise in the human capital management industry. He was part of the executive management team for 12 years at dice.com, (www.dice.com) leading revenue growth to $120 million as the company emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy to IPO in four years. Earlier in his career, Tom held lead operating and management roles for 10 years at American Express, where he was part of the team that launched the company's first online travel service targeting the corporate market. He is president of two 501c-3 foundations -- the Cancer Research & Treatment and Fund in New York City and The Educational Foundation of Sigma Pi at his alma mater, Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.
