Performance Pathways Project Coordinator
Uk Sport, London
Working in the Performance Pathway Team has exposed me to a wide range of learning opportunities, be that in a sporting environment, educational workshops or from a governance perspective. I am able to interact daily with a wide range of athletes, coaches, practitioners and support staff through work projects such as the development curriculum and athlete recruitment campaigns. This has allowed me to develop a good knowledge of the skills required to work with in the development area, various ways performance pathways are managed and the differing philosophies of developing athletes held by staff. My work includes, but isn’t limited to, internal and external stake holder engagement, project planning, budget monitoring, database creation and maintenance and content and resource development. I use a variety of Microsoft office, communication and specialized digital platforms to engage with a variety of internal and external partners. I assist with content development and lead on the operational development of education workshops, planning events for up to one hundred attendees over multiple days and leading on customer service. My work projects also allow me to utilise effective presentation, communication and influencing skills as well as the ability to quickly build relationships and work under pressure. I also have a proven track-record of managing multiple tasks, and demonstrate excellent initiative to progress projects and in furthering my current skills and knowledge.
