I worked as a industrial engineer at the gearbox assembly department in Södertälje. My responsibility was to:* Support the assembly line with the proper equipment.* Provide technical support on machinery and flow solutions.* Constantly improve the standardized working methods.* Coordinate the introduction of new products and equipment during development projects.

This thesis aimed to evaluate a non-destructive testing method (Vision-system) by using the measurment system analysis metholodgy, to ensure if it is possible to measure the weld toe radius in a welded T-joint.The result was a proprietary algorithm named STELIN, that automatically scans the welded surface and identifies the toe radius. This is a unique product since no other program manages to find the zone of the toe radius.

I worked part time as a sales engineer and technician for home security solutions during my KTH studies.The assignment was:* Establishing customer relationship in a new area in Stockholm* Support existing customers with security advise* Install security solutions for new customers

This thesis aimed to create a new material flow in the plant. Quality management tools and lean principles were used to develop a plan of action, with the purpose to ensure a shorter and more reliable production lead time as well as reducing the amount of WIP (work in process). The project resulted in a detailed plan of action to the management team which reduced the production lead time from 33 to 9 days.
