Responsible for the full P&L responsibility for Parry Labs pursuits, capture, and execution of programs in the Air and Space Domain. Also serves as the General Manager for Huntsville Site to include oversight of facilities and all coordination activities within the site. Provides mentorship and coaching to the direct staff of Program Managers, Matrixed Engineering, and Business Development. Ensures delivery objectives for orders, revenue, and gross margin across all programs within P&L and provides direct input into IRAD and indirect budget to support key captures. Develops new business opportunities to provide a foundation for continuous upward sales trends while meeting profitability objectives. Leads successful selling strategies to the USG, structuring partnerships/teaming that demonstrate new capabilities, and developing value propositions. Lead all Air and Space Domain Strategies and senior customer engagements and develops novel concepts and go to market strategies to customers with assigned staff. Directly channel creativity through internal technology stakeholders to develop winning solutions for our customers.

Serves as a board member for the Vertical Lift Consortium (VLC) that joins industry stakeholders at all levels in collaborating with the Government to speed development of technology and lay the foundation for Future Vertical Lift (FVL) platforms. It allows for the industry’s most creative and innovative minds, using VLC as a conduit, to advance innovative FVL prototype concepts to the benefit of all Government end-users in the most cost-efficient manner. The end result maximizes total FVL system effectiveness for the warfighter and minimizes cost to the Government, while protecting proprietary data of VLC Members. The VLC vision is to be a cohesive national resource which various Government customers can efficiently access innovative technologies to fulfill critical DoD vertical lift needs, which invigorates the U.S. industrial base, drives innovation, and achieves an international competitive edge.

Advises the Department Chair on long-range planning and development, curriculum matters (including ABET review), policy-making, and other departmental decisions. The Council will, as needed, make recommendations and/or suggestions to the Department Chair, Dean of the College of Engineering, and the University with majority approval and consent of the Department Chair.

Serves as the Director and Huntsville Office Site Lead for 5 Program Managers responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of Army UH-60 & CH-47 programs as well as international direct commercial and foreign military sales programs. Leads a team of program managers, engineers, and business developers to analyze, evaluate, and recommend solutions and business opportunities consistent with the needs of the DoD Warfighter and company.

Develops Aviation operational concepts, determines operational capability requirements and shapes science and technology for Army Aviation. Primary works in the field of developing fuure force strucutre through the development, designs and documentation of Army Aviation force structure for current and future Aviation organizations. Also serves as a user representative in the acquisition process for current and future Army Aviation platforms and related systems. Conducts experimentation, data collection and analysis to validate Army Aviation warfighting concepts and capabilities as wells as explores the potential of emerging science and technology initiatives and assesses the doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel and facilities implications of Army Aviation initiatives. Directs and oversees seven Directorates to include: Concepts, Experimentation, and Analysis Directorate (CEAD) that identifies capability gaps, and develops appropriate requirements to mitigate and close capability gaps for the future Army Aviation force. Organization and Personnel Force Development primarily responsible for organizational requirements; assesses existing force structures. Five TCMs to include Aviation Brigades, Future Vertical Lift, Lift, Reconnaissance and Attack, and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).

Serves as the Director for the Army's combat and training developments and user activities associated with Army UAS. Coordinates work on doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, and facilities integration in support of the Army's UAS to ensure success throughout the operational environment. Executes its mission by coordinating DOTMLPF development to ensure these key areas remain integrated and support operational requirements. Integrate all unmanned aircraft system of systems components to include: unmanned aircraft, mission equipment, payloads, communication architectures, display and control elements, the human element, and life cycle logistics.
