As a Senior Associate Scientist at Pfizer, I apply my Master of Science degree in Infectious Diseases and my six years of experience in the science industry to conduct laboratory research and interpret scientific data. I am often sought for my technical knowledge in analytics, as well as system and SOP issues that arise. As part of the team, I am able to see and explain issues from end to end, and put the big picture together so that others can understand and apply it. I am passionate about advancing the understanding and treatment of newly identified targets and I work with a team of dedicated and innovative colleagues who share this mission.Prior to joining the research team, I was seconded to the Learning Operations team at Pfizer, where I traveled and provided technical training for new and existing colleagues on various lab systems, while introducing new colleagues to Pfizer culture. In addition, the diverse team and myself authored, reviewed and provided technical updates and expertise on SOPs and methods. I also have been a private tutor for high school and college students since 2014, helping them achieve their academic goals in subjects such as biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, microbiology, and calculus. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and skills with others, and I strive to make learning engaging and fun.
