Responsible for the development, deployment, and execution of global initiatives and priorities associated with enhancing Supplier Quality, Delivery, and Enterprise Localization goals. Implemented enterprise-wide supplier performance system framework to standardize performance management of third-party direct suppliers across Flowserve’s global locations resulting in a global supplier PPM reduction of 7,000.

Operational, safety, and quality accountability for a 100m industrial manufacturing location of 300 cross functional employees with diverse and complex responsibilities as well as job safety hazards. Responsible for the execution of plant goals and objectives/ KPI’s (Safety, Profitability, OTD, PPM, CIP) and subsequent cascading alignment of functional initiatives.

Accountable for assembly performance and quality of 3 product lines with annual sales of $85m. Develop and execute capital spending plans to meet ongoing business needs for facilities, equipment, and productivity. Served as the operational representative in customer facing audits and interactions.

Interim appointment. Accountable for quality performance of high volume manufacturing consisting of three primary product lines representing annual sales of $100M and 350k line items shipped. API Q1 & ISO 9001 registered QMS system. Maintain API 6D monogram program. Introduced, educated, drove APQP program into supply chain as part of overall QMS renovation. Actively drove root cause/corrective action into plant daily culture using basic DMAIC approach. Overhauled QMS from legacy text based approach to interactive visual management process flowchart model.

Accountable for the qualification and launch of a fundamental business model change for legacy product representing $25M in annual sales. Responsible for international supply chain development and integration in support of a new acquisition US market introduction.

Regional KPI and P&L responsibilities for contract quality and 3PL operations consisting of 125 team members covering seven locations (four onsite at Fortune 500 OEM’s). Accountability included defining customer deliverables, tactical placement of operations, process layout and flow, technology requirements, asset acquisition, and advancing operational excellence. Developed regional infrastructure of capabilities and organization for rapid quality event campaigns including GD&T inspections, rework services, logistic management, and off site quarantine storage.

Responsible for fiscal management of domestic operations and commercial steering of new business opportunities for an international company with sales of $35 million annually who provide quality and supply chain solutions to OEM’s and their suppliers. Interim assignment to address departmental alignment with strategy.

Responsibilities included support and oversight of new product/facility implementations as well as lean/continuous improvement projects and initiatives. Facility start up was structured via project management and included site preparation, capital equipment procurement, ISO certification, process and personnel development.

Responsibility for managing a quality operation inside a fortune 100 manufacturer. Operation included over twenty team members across three shifts and +$2.5M/2000pcs in maintainable assets. Accountable for the productivity and the profit/loss profitability of the site. Establish and coordinate staffing schedules, allocation of manpower, and materials and equipment according to customer quality inspection requirements. Create, maintain, and manage site-quality policies and procedures in accordance with standard operating requirements. Create, implement, and champion process-improvement strategies. Monitor and analyze process control, inspection, and supplier data to pro-actively resolve developing quality issues and existing issues
