During my masters and time studying in Boston, I became interested in clinical care as well as treating the community to which the individual belongs. My research interests focused on the implications of stroke and stroke-like events on individuals and the consequences of subsequent treatments. I am particularly intrigued by interventions and stroke prevention strategies for patients diagnosed with a Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO). I also worked with a program that educated Boston area youth on the signs of stroke and appropriate actions to take. I am currently studying to become an Osteopathic Physician and hope to continue my passion for research, clinical care, and research.

In the clinic, I meet with patients before appointments, measure vitals, and record patient history in their charts. -

In addition, I assisted in marking dying endothelial cells with nanoparticles for potential function in target therapy in retinal diseases.
