I worked in the Analytical Dept. particularly within competitor analysis for soap powders. I worked as part of a team, but mainly perform my duties by myself. My duties included various wet chemistry techniques such as titrations, sample prep, UV spectroscopy, HPLC and ELISA’s. I also took on extra duties of maintaining, calibrating and reporting of laboratory equipment (balances, Dosimats, pipettes, fridge, freezers and ovens). I am also tasked with purchasing laboratory equipment, stock control duties and making sure used chemicals have been logged and disposed of.
