I aspire to find a position that will allow me to continue working as a researcher. I greatly enjoyed my time in a research lab while attending Miami University. That experience resulted in co-authoring a paper titled "Common as well as unique methylation-sensitive DNA regulatory elements in three mammalian SLC9C1 genes." I gained valuable knowledge and skills from my years in the lab. I primarily performed experiments such as PCR, DNA prep and analysis, and gel electrophoresis, with exposure to additional experiments.My most recent position has allowed me to interact with some wonderful people by providing essential care to elderly folks needing assistance. It is not easy for anyone to find themselves needing such care, but with patience and compassion, you can make each day something to look forward to for the client and the caregiver.
