Duties Included:Participated in the full life cycle management of information systems to include: Hardware and Software planning in heterogeneous environment.Hardware installation: power planning, HVAC cooling considerations, assembly of server racks (physical racks, installing servers into racks, cable management, rack grounding, etc), cable/power runs to racks via subfloor, connectivity uplinks, installation of memory and or hard drives into servers/clients, client workstation unpacking and rollout to customers work areas, and replacing hardware on regular hardware refresh schedules.Software installation: Installed both server and client OS's (creating client workstation images for rapid deployment), Installed and configured all additional required software for servers and clients in mixed Solaris/Windows environment, creation of Domains/Group Policies/User Accounts, and handling security scans and remediation of newly installed servers/clients.Monitoring and Maintenance: Both hardware and software from server to client to include monitoring physical servers for warning indications, using server assistant software to monitor temperature/physical alarms, troubleshooting and replacement of hardware or fix to software issues, installation of security patches, upgrades to OS's/software.

Duties Included:Administration for all servers, Windows 2000 and Unix. Maintenance, Troubleshooting and Upgrades. Handled all desktop support duties to include Windows NT, 2000 and XP operating systems. Handled all network security functions for the entire company.
